An original entry in the Shichiken series brewed to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Ritz Carlton Kyoto, a leading luxury five-star hotel that was listed in the Forbes Travel Guide 2020 for the third year in a row.

To capture the elegance of Kyoto and the unique culture of Japan, Shichiken’s sake brewed with the traditional yeast is matured in four whiskey barrels from the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery before a second fermentation in the bottle.

Staff from the hotel were involved in the entire production process, from rice planting and harvesting to the brewing itself.
