The Shichiken Mitsukoshi 350th Anniversary Commemorative Bottle comes emblazoned with an unprecedented high quality label design featuring the Tokyo Goshu Choudai No Zu ukiyo-e print from the Mitsukoshi Isetan Holdings collection.
In May, employees from Mitsukoshi helped plant the Yumesansui variety of sake rice in the fields of Hakushu Town, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The harvesting was also attended and carried out together with employees from Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi main store.
Following harvesting, the rice was then polished to 37% before undergoing a slow, long, low-temperature fermentation to produce this outstanding junmai daiginjo, which is available in three variations: origarami, namazake, and pasteurized in bottle.
